• Pay Range: $78.31 to $103.71/hour

Description

Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute setting, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care.

Develops and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors, and maintains collaborative relationships through timely and effective communication.

Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• Bachelor’s degree (required)

• Certification & Licensure: RN (Registered Nurse of California) or RN-IP (Interim Permit) (required)

• BLS: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (AHA or American Red Cross) (required)

• Complete department-specific requirements within six (6) months of start date:

  • ACLS

  • Interpretation of Basic Arrhythmia Test

  • Anti-Arrhythmic / Hemodynamic Drug Test

• Minimum 6 months area-specific acute care experience within the last 2 years (preferred)

• Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills

• Effective English written and communication skills

• Ability to independently prioritize multiple demands in an ever-changing environment

• Good interpersonal, oral and written communication, and teamwork skills
