Description

Provide high-quality inpatient care as a Hospitalist within a population health–focused network. You will assess patients, create and recommend treatment plans, maintain accurate medical records, order and interpret tests, and support patient education and coordination of care. The role includes access to multiple specialties and subspecialists across the network.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care
• Create and recommend treatment plans
• Take patient medical histories
• Update patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments
• Order tests for healthcare staff to administer
• Review and interpret test results
• Respond to questions and concerns from patients
• Discuss proper nutrition, hygiene, and self-care with patients
• Work with medical staff including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nurses

Requirements

• MD, DO, or professional degree in medicine from an accredited medical school
• Current M.D. or D.O. license for the state
• BCLS certification; ACLS required if stress tests are performed or as required by specialty
• Current State and Federal narcotics licenses
• 1–3 years of physician or hospitalist experience
• Experience with hospital medicine
