• Full-time hospitalist role with strong APP support
• 8-bed ICU
• Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off; ~15 shifts/month and 182 shifts/year
• Rotating shifts: Day (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), Swing (9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.), Night (9:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) on a round-robin plan; nights every 8 weeks
• Average census: ~18 patients per daytime rounder/day
• Admissions handled by the swing hospitalist
• Call coverage: 7:00–9:00 a.m.; two physicians alternate morning call coverage (each covers every other day during a 7-day block)

Description

Join a physician-led hospitalist program providing inpatient care. The emergency department team runs codes, and hospitalists rotate through day, swing, and night responsibilities; the swing hospitalist handles admissions. The program includes an open ICU (8-bed) and averages ~18 patients per daytime rounder per day.

Requirements

• U.S. board-certified or board-eligible hospitalist (BC/BE)
