Description

Provide comprehensive inpatient care in a collaborative hospital medicine environment. Coordinate admissions, round on patients, and manage discharges with APP support on a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule. The role includes procedural and acute-care responsibilities as required for inpatient management.

Responsibilities

• Admit and coordinate inpatient admissions and consults

• Round on patients and provide ongoing inpatient management

• Discharge patients in coordination with APPs

• Respond to codes

• Perform required bedside procedures

Requirements

• Active IN state license or IMLC

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (certification must be obtained within 5 years of residency)

• More than 2 years of inpatient medicine experience (if applicable)

• BLS required for all specialties

• ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
