Description

Provide diagnostic and surgical care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including outpatient and hospital consultations and participation in on-call coverage. Plan and prescribe individualized treatment, including both surgical and non-surgical options, and document symptoms, medications, and treatment events. Support prevention and health promotion programs, and contribute to medical education, training, and board-required CME.

Requirements

• Completion of a residency in orthopedic surgery in an ACGME-approved program

• Current BC/BE in orthopedic surgery (American Board of Orthopedic Surgery)

• Valid state medical license as MD or DO

• Valid DEA certificate

• 2 years’ experience working full-time as an orthopedic surgeon
