Description

Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon needed to join a growing surgical program at a regional referral center. The role provides comprehensive vascular care and performs both open and endovascular procedures, with balanced inpatient and outpatient practice. The surgeon will help develop and expand vascular services across the health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Perform open and endovascular procedures in a hospital-based setting
• Evaluate and manage inpatient vascular consultations
• Participate in call coverage and vascular service line development
• Collaborate with cardiology, nephrology, wound care, and critical care services
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completed accredited Vascular Surgery residency or fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in Maine
• DEA certification required
