Description

Lead end-to-end project activities for international delivery squads by shaping solutions, ensuring planned delivery to customer expectations, and managing stakeholders, risks, budgets, and governance. This role uses PRINCE2 and requires solid practical understanding of Agile principles, including hands-on vendor and system integrator oversight.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and project nuances.
• Support business development by leading overall solution design, programme shaping, and business case creation (systems architecture, cost, commercial and contractual viability, and risk level identification).
• Ensure projects are constructed, planned, monitored, and delivered within the customer’s expected time frame.
• Identify and drive the best commercial delivery option; manage delivery within agreed tolerances and keep parties aware of actual versus forecast costs.
• Record and deliver customer quality expectations.
• Provide input to bids and manage projects following company processes, procedures, and best practices using PRINCE2.
• Ensure effective client engagement and stakeholder management by reviewing, assessing, motivating, and managing team performance.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, IT, and solution-provider stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and define mitigation actions.
• Conduct important/complex projects or operations that represent an agency or divisional risk, including subcontractors and offshore dimension where applicable.
• Carry out several projects/operations in parallel if necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Project Manager (or similar) role.
• Active PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (or equivalent in PMP or PM²).
• Fluent English: B2/C1.
• Strong coordination skills; highly organized and result-oriented.
• Good knowledge of project steering functions.
• Understanding of risk and change management.
• Practical understanding of Agile principles.
• Experience managing project plans, budgets, timelines, governance, and status reporting.
• Hands-on experience managing vendors and system integrators, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and contract delivery oversight.
• Expertise in risk management, issue management, dependency tracking, and escalation management.
• Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills for alignment across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• High resilience and ability to perform effectively under pressure in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in the Katowice office.
