Description

You will lead complex building construction projects for a campus development from planning through acceptance, keeping timeline, cost, and quality under control. In an owner’s representative capacity, you handle procurement and contract matters and ensure effective construction supervision and structured project documentation. You coordinate internal and external project participants while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as client/owner’s representative for campus development and oversee planning and execution of complex construction projects by schedule, cost, and quality

• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company internal requirements

• Prepare tenders for specialist planners; support awarding and help run tenders for executing firms

• Coordinate and steer internal and external stakeholders

• Own procurement, contract, order, and invoice management

• Develop decision papers for project preparation and execution

• Ensure construction supervision and handover; maintain structured project documentation

• Organize the construction site, ensure work safety, and report directly to management

Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering (or comparable qualification)

• Relevant professional experience in project management for demanding large projects in building construction

• Solid knowledge of project management and of public and private construction law, especially application of HOAI and VOB

• Confident handling of complex topics and experience with modern project management tools and methods

• Very good German and good English skills
