Description

You will lead delivery from mobilization through implementation and handover, coordinating multiple internal and external teams with competing priorities. The role is hands-on, with end-to-end accountability for delivery outcomes and partner/supplier commitments. You will build and maintain delivery plans, manage risks/issues/scope, and provide evidence-based forecasts, metrics, and status reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery from mobilization through implementation and handover

• Build and maintain delivery plans (milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, controls)

• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams, meetings, and communications

• Manage scope, risks, issues, and interdependencies; escalate early and constructively

• Influence senior leaders and partners, resolve conflict, and challenge unrealistic expectations

• Drive accountability across teams and suppliers to ensure commitments are met

• Track progress and provide clear, evidence-based forecasts, status reports, and metrics

• Maintain accurate, current project documentation and support continuous improvement

Requirements

• Fluent in German and able to work effectively with UK and international stakeholders

• Proven experience delivering complex software and integration projects (ideally in insurance or another large enterprise)

• Strong understanding of delivery methodologies, software development lifecycles, and technical integration

• Experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams (developers, technical leads, architects, product owners, product managers)

• Confident working with executives, external partners, and suppliers

• Highly proficient in Jira and Confluence

• Pragmatic, organized, assertive; strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, or a similar project management qualification is desirable
