Description

Design and engineer medium-voltage switchgear for energy supply and industrial projects. Create electrical circuit diagrams, switching diagrams, and technical documentation, and plan/dimension switchgear components, transformers, and protection and control technology. Support commissioning/technical acceptance and prepare tender documents and technical specifications while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and dimension medium-voltage switchgear for utility and industrial projects
• Create electrical circuit diagrams, switching diagrams, and technical documentation
• Plan and size switchgear equipment, transformers, and protection/control system components
• Perform technical calculations and coordinate plant/system concepts
• Collaborate with customers, grid operators, suppliers, and internal technical teams
• Support commissioning and technical acceptances
• Create and review tender documents and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and quality targets

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of electrical power supply and medium-voltage/switchgear technology
• Experience with design/project planning of electrical systems (advantage)
• Proficiency with CAE/CAD systems, ideally EPLAN Electric P8
• Knowledge of applicable DIN, VDE, and IEC standards
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
