Description

Design and develop electrical documentation for automated production lines and industrial stations in EPLAN Electric P8. Create and modify electrical schematics based on client requirements and design standards, select automation components, and prepare BOMs, cable lists, and other project documentation.

Collaborate with PLC, robotics, and other project teams to validate documentation accuracy and support troubleshooting, changes, and optimization of electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical documentation for automated production lines and industrial workstations in EPLAN Electric P8
• Create and modify electrical schematics according to client requirements and design standards
• Select electrical components and industrial automation elements
• Prepare BOMs, cable lists, and other documents required for the project
• Verify technical documentation for correctness and alignment with project assumptions
• Collaborate with PLC programmers, robotics engineers, and other project teams
• Participate in troubleshooting and implement changes and optimizations to design solutions

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role related to electrical design or technical documentation preparation
• Practical knowledge of EPLAN
• Ability to create and read electrical schematics
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation topics
• Ability to read technical documentation and work according to client guidelines
• English or German knowledge at a communicative level
• Willingness for business travel for foreign projects
• Teamwork skills, engagement, and communication skills
