Description

Develop new sensor systems and improve existing ones across the entire signal chain—from analog electronics to embedded firmware and measurement validation. You will design sensor circuitry, build and run prototypes, and implement embedded software in C/C++ plus PC tools for testing and data acquisition on Linux or Windows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sensors and enhance existing designs along the complete signal chain
  • Select components, design circuits, and create bills of materials (BOM)
  • Lay out printed circuit boards (PCB), build prototypes, and bring them into operation
  • Program prototype embedded software in C/C++ on microcontrollers
  • Develop PC tools for tests and data acquisition on Linux or Windows
  • Document specifications, design decisions, and gained insights
  • Evaluate and trial new components and measurement principles

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Sensor Technology, or a related discipline
  • Plus: knowledge in high-frequency engineering or electromagnetic field theory
  • Experience with analog circuit design for measurement/sensor applications, including placement, return current paths, grounding/ground routing, signal integrity, EMC-compliant layout, and manufacturability-oriented design
  • Confident with C and C++ for embedded target systems and for test/driver components under Linux or Windows
  • Routine with circuit simulation (tolerance, worst-case, thermal analysis) and with measurement-based verification of noise, drift, linearity, and stability
  • Good German and English skills

Benefits

  • Short decision-making paths and room for your own ideas
  • Thorough onboarding
