Description

Experienced Java backend developers are needed to work on complex systems. The role focuses on designing and implementing backend services and REST APIs, developing and deploying applications on GCP, and taking ownership of technical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications
• Design and implement backend services and APIs
• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications on GCP
• Work on system improvements and performance optimization
• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders
• Support delivery of reliable, maintainable software

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java 11/17/21
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience developing microservices and REST APIs
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Good understanding of software design principles and best practices
• Good communication skills and English proficiency
