Description

You will join a long-term project in the financial sector, responsible for developing and maintaining modern backend systems built on microservices architecture that support key business processes. The role involves working in a distributed environment, designing scalable solutions, and using modern tools including AI support for the software development process.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java backend applications

• Build and evolve microservices-based solutions

• Implement solutions aligned with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Design and develop integrations using REST, SOAP, and Kafka

• Maintain high code quality and apply software engineering best practices

• Create unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests

• Analyze and optimize application performance

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and project teams

• Participate in deployment and maintenance processes

• Use AI tools to support the development workflow

Requirements

• Several years of commercial Java development with Java 11+

• Practical knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot 3.5+

• Experience with Hazelcast or Redis

• Very good knowledge of JPA and Hibernate

• Experience in designing and developing microservices-based systems

• Knowledge of hexagonal architecture

• Practical experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Experience with integrations using SOAP, REST, and Kafka

• Very good SQL knowledge

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases

• Knowledge of design and integration patterns

• Knowledge of resilience patterns/mechanisms for distributed systems

• Knowledge of SOLID, DRY, KISS and best programming practices

• Experience creating and selecting appropriate software tests

• Knowledge of diagnosis and application performance optimization tools/methods

• Knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes

• General knowledge of banking and the financial sector

• Ability to effectively use AI tools in the development process
