Description

Senior Java Backend Developer to design and deliver robust, scalable, high-performance enterprise backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will build and improve RESTful APIs and microservices, participate in system design and architecture decisions, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications with Java and Spring Boot

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and other teams

• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and system design discussions

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues

• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps initiatives

• Work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices

• Strong OOP principles and design patterns knowledge

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server)

• Familiarity with messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)

• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and delivery best practices

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with event-driven architectures

• Financial services or enterprise-scale project experience
