Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure backend solutions, focusing on code optimization and building maintainable, reliable applications. The role involves building testable components and REST APIs while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements and feasibility. You will also support testing, deployment, documentation, and continuous improvement in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality backend components and scalable solutions

• Build secure, maintainable, and testable applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine requirements

• Assess technical feasibility and propose solutions

• Optimize existing code for performance and maintainability

• Support testing, deployment, and technical documentation

• Share best practices and support less experienced developers

• Contribute to continuous improvement in Agile

Requirements

• Strong hands-on backend development experience (5+ years relevant)

• Expert knowledge of Java 21 and Spring Boot 4.x

• Expert knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or CDK)

• Experience with SQL and Oracle

• Knowledge of Kafka or other streaming technologies

• Experience with Docker, Jenkins, Maven, and Git

• Knowledge of OWASP security standards

• Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps practices

• Fluent professional English

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaborate in an Agile team

• Willingness to work hybrid (3 days/week in Warsaw office)
