Description

You will help develop and maintain banking systems that support corporate customer credit/loan processes. The job focuses on building high-quality backend solutions with strong emphasis on reliability, performance, readability, and unit testing. You will work in a microservices environment and collaborate closely with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems supporting corporate credit processes in a banking environment

• Create and improve reliable, efficient, and readable solutions

• Design and document technical solutions aligned with business needs

• Prepare and implement unit tests to support software quality

• Collaborate with business analysts, IT architects, project teams, and business stakeholders

• Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Relevant higher education (IT, math, or related)

• Banking experience, particularly with credit/loan process initiatives

• Experience working with microservices-based applications

• Knowledge of system integration concepts (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD)

• Experience working with databases: SQL query optimization, data modeling, transactions, and database locks

• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence

• Ability to independently plan and deliver assigned tasks

• Analytical problem-solving skills

• Systematic, responsible approach with high engagement

• Ability to search for new solutions and show creativity

• English proficiency to work with technical documentation

• Experience with code reviews; refactoring experience is a plus
