Description

Join an international team developing a global Tax product. You will translate business and stakeholder needs into functional requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlog items for development teams. The role includes workshops, business process analysis and optimization, and ensuring alignment with business and tax requirements across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops and business meetings; independently gather and analyze requirements

• Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and developer backlog

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders

• Manage competing requirements and priorities

• Analyze and optimize existing business processes

• Support solution design for global customers and multiple markets

• Ensure solution consistency and compliance with business and tax requirements

• Take active ownership of your product area

• Work with stakeholders from different countries, business units, and organizational areas

Requirements

• Business Analyst experience in an IT/Product Development environment

• Tax domain knowledge (taxes) or a closely related business area

• Ability to independently collect, analyze, and document requirements

• Experience collaborating with developer teams and creating/maintaining backlog

• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders and ability to lead challenging business discussions

• Ability to prioritize competing topics and manage parallel initiatives

• Proactive, independent, ownership-oriented approach

• Ability to quickly build domain expertise in new, complex areas

• Understanding that a global product must be scalable, efficient, and applicable across many markets

• Comfort working in an international, multi-stakeholder environment
