Description

You will act as the first point of contact for onsite IT requests across several locations, handling 1st- and 2nd-level support. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining IT workstations, end devices, and peripherals, as well as analyzing and resolving hardware and software issues. You may also support the central service desk, rollouts, and standardizations, while documenting solutions and following IT security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle onsite IT requests in 1st- and 2nd-level support
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, end devices, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot hard- and software problems and implement sustainable solutions
• Support the central service desk when needed and assist with rollouts/standardizations and cross-site support topics
• Document solutions and comply with IT security and compliance policies

Requirements

• Longstanding IT support experience, ideally onsite/workplace environment
• IT-related education or comparable qualification (preferred)
• Strong Windows knowledge; practical macOS experience
• Good knowledge of MS Office, client hardware, and peripherals; experience with ticketing systems and monitoring tools
• Independent, service-oriented, pragmatic approach in direct end-user contact
• Driver’s license Class B and willingness to regularly work onsite at the locations
• Very good German and English communication skills (written and spoken)
