Description

You will act as the technical point of contact and system owner for WMS Viadat in the high-bay and automated warehouse environment (AKL and APL). The role includes troubleshooting and administrative issue resolution in viacontrol and mobile operator panels, implementing Viadat configuration and dialog extensions, and coordinating between operations, IT, and production leadership. You will also train users so the system runs stably during day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain WMS Viadat and the high-bay/automated warehouse systems (AKL and APL)
• Resolve technical disruptions and perform administrative corrections in viacontrol and mobile control panels
• Maintain software and implement configuration and dialog extensions in Viadat
• Serve as the interface between operational use, IT, and plant/production management
• Train operators and transfer knowledge for stable operations
• Collaborate with IT, production control, WWS, and other specialist departments
• Document work and continuously improve processes

Requirements

• Proven expertise in WMS Viadat
• Experience in high-bay and automated warehouse environments, especially with conveyor technology and RBG/stacker crane devices
• Knowledge of viacontrol or comparable plant/operations software
• Solid IT fundamentals: user and role setup, system administration, and interfaces
• Structured, solution-oriented working style with the ability to identify root causes under operational pressure
• Good German language skills; English knowledge in the domain is an advantage
• Desirable: experience with Viastore or Toyota Automated Logistics
• Desirable: solid knowledge of conveyor technology and RBG
• Experience with commissioning or ramp-up of new automated warehouses
• Experience replacing or reducing third-party support
