Description

You will review the IT of target companies, identify risks early, and define integration or separation scenarios with decision-makers and other stakeholders. The role includes developing processes and templates, integrating acquired organizations into infrastructure, Entra ID and M365 tenants, identities, endpoints, networking, business applications, and security—and then handing solutions over to operations. For carve-outs, you will plan and complete TSAs to ensure everything runs from Day 1, and you will also support IT setup for newly created entities.

Responsibilities

  • Advance processes, approaches, and associated templates
  • Execute IT onboarding of acquisitions (infrastructure, Entra ID/M365 tenants, identities, end devices, network, business applications, security) and transition to operations
  • For carve-outs: separate IT in an orderly manner and plan/close TSAs so “Day 1” operations are guaranteed
  • Support IT build-out for new company formations
  • During calmer M&A phases, lead Zeppelin IT infrastructure projects and contribute to transformation areas

Requirements

  • Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration with IT specialization, or equivalent
  • Several years of IT experience, ideally in integration, IT transformation, M&A, carve-outs, or post-merger integration
  • Strong knowledge of modern IT landscapes: infrastructure, cloud services, identity management, networking, workplace, M365, and IT security
  • Experience planning and managing complex IT projects with interdisciplinary/international teams
  • Understanding of how acquisitions, divestments, and reorganization affect IT systems, processes, and organizational structures
  • Experience with IT due diligence and risk / integration-effort assessment (advantage)
  • Knowledge of building, migrating, and consolidating M365 and Entra ID environments (desired)
  • Ability to package complex topics for different management levels
  • Strong initiative, structured working style, analytical and conceptual skills
  • Confident, persuasive demeanor plus strong communication and moderation skills
  • Excellent German and English (written and spoken)

Benefits

  • Future-oriented, social, and sustainable culture
  • Freedom to shape your work, with development and further training opportunities
  • Mobile and flexible working and 30 vacation days
  • Health, child and care support; activities promoting diversity and appreciation
  • Health and movement offers (e.g., yoga) and corporate bike leasing
  • Company pension plan
