Description

Lead the further development of the ERP landscape and the IT project portfolio by combining strategic direction with hands-on operational leadership. Ensure smooth ERP rollouts, continuous optimization, and successful upgrades/migrations while managing ongoing IT projects for time, budget, and quality. Serve as the central interface between business departments and IT, translating business requirements into technical concepts and supporting system integration.

Responsibilities

• Disciplinarily and technically lead team members; motivate, develop, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous process improvement

• Align IT project strategy with overall business goals and develop a scalable organizational structure and long-term vision for the system landscape

• Ensure smooth ERP rollout and continuous ERP optimization; analyze business processes, identify potential, ensure data quality, and plan upgrades or migrations

• Own responsibility for ongoing IT projects; steer schedule, budget, and quality targets and establish consistent project management structures and standards with the Head of IT

• Act as a central interface between business functions and IT; collect and analyze requirements, translate them into technical concepts, and ensure integration of new IT systems with other applications

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in IT project management and controlling complex IT initiatives

• Sound knowledge of ERP rollouts, operations, and further development (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor, AP+)

• Leadership experience and the ability to develop teams appreciatively and goal-oriented

• Strategic thinking, fast analysis of complex relationships, and development of sustainable solutions

• Confident communication at all levels and ability to bring together different interests successfully

• Independent, highly organized, and structured working style
