Description

You lead a team of about five IT specialists responsible for the stable operation and further development of a hybrid IT infrastructure. You develop and implement concepts for introducing, migrating, and operating new IT solutions, and you handle technical incidents as part of 2nd/3rd level support. You collaborate closely with internal departments and external service providers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~5 IT specialists (system support)

• Coordinate stable operations and ongoing development of hybrid IT (Windows, Linux, M365/Azure)

• Design and implement concepts for new IT solution rollout, migration, and operations

• Analyze and resolve technical issues in 2nd/3rd level support

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to secure project success

Requirements

• Technical or electronic vocational training plus training as Fachinformatiker (m/w/d) or comparable qualification

• Alternatively: technical/electronic/IT-related vocational training plus a relevant degree

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role

• At least 3 years of technical people leadership experience

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Azure (Entra, EXO, Intune, Defender)

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft server technologies (AD, GPO, DFS)

• Proficiency in PowerShell

• Solid experience operating data center (RZ) infrastructure

• Experience with enterprise hardware (HPE: servers, FC, SAN)

• Solid virtualization experience, especially VMware vSphere

• Analytical, customer-oriented working style and confident communication

• Proactive and idea-driven mindset

• Project management knowledge; experience with cloud technologies or complex enterprise infrastructures is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and German proficiency (written and spoken)
