Quick Facts

  • Role: IT Project Manager / Team Lead

  • Focus: Delivery, client communication, and team leadership for IT projects (aftersales)

Description

You will own IT projects with a Lead Developer—moving from requirements analysis and planning to development, deployment, and monitoring in production. The role combines project governance, translating business needs into actionable assignments, and proactive risk identification so delivery stays on time, high-quality, and aligned with client expectations. You will also lead and support the team, providing continuous feedback and development using servant-leadership practices, while communicating with clients in English.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, with the required quality, and according to client expectations

  • Coordinate project governance: analysis and planning → development → deployment → production monitoring

  • Manage activities, track delivery progress, identify risks, and organize corrective actions

  • Translate business requirements into clear tasks for the development team

  • Use business analyses and understand their impact on the project

  • Motivate the team, support autonomy, and act as a natural point of contact

  • Build a positive, open, and friendly working atmosphere

  • Provide regular feedback (not only during semi-annual reviews) and support team members’ development plans

  • Represent the team and the organization toward the client

  • Communicate and negotiate business requirements, priorities, and project direction in English

  • Lead meetings, presentations, and discussions; provide professional recommendations and defend the team’s positions

  • Proactively escalate risks and propose solutions (not only report status)

Requirements

  • Experience managing IT projects

  • Practical Agile/Scrum knowledge

  • Proficiency with JIRA

  • Knowledge of AWS and basic orientation in cloud technologies

  • English at C1 level; Czech at C1 level

  • Ability to perform business analysis work and convert requirements into development assignments

  • Experience leading or coordinating developers

  • Strong technical understanding across the stack (OS, runtime, application layer, networking, data)

  • Understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, availability, scalability, security, operability) and how they relate to runtime and infrastructure

  • Understanding of SRE/operations principles (SLI/SLO, monitoring, incident management, error budget) and their effect on delivery planning

  • Ability to plan team capacities based on required roles across project phases

  • Familiarity with architectural best practices and the ability to raise gaps with both the team and the client

  • Willingness to use AI tools actively and apply them meaningfully in projects and team work

Benefits

  • Remote work with team meetings in Prague (IBC Florenc) several times per month

  • Interesting work and compensation aligned with experience and contribution

  • Employment options: HPP or contractor (IČO)

  • For HPP: semi-annual bonuses, 25 days holiday + 3 sick days + 6 training days

  • Meal allowance lump sum

  • Support for professional certifications and education budget

  • Company events and team-building activities

  • Preferential Vodafone tariffs

  • Zoo membership

  • Pleasant work environment and refreshments at the workplace
