Description

Drive and implement an Operational Excellence roadmap across Lean Management and Six Sigma. Build and expand a practical production and continuous-improvement system, introducing Lean methods such as 5S, Kaizen, value stream analysis, standard work, shopfloor management and daily management. Lead Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma projects (e.g., DMAIC) and manage improvement potential with regular KPI reporting to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a roadmap for Operational Excellence, Lean Management and Six Sigma
• Establish a practical production and improvement system
• Introduce and further develop Lean methods: 5S, Kaizen, value stream analysis, standard work, shopfloor management and daily management
• Roll out methods and standards step-by-step into adjacent production-related areas
• Analyze and optimize production processes, material flows, interfaces and cross-department workflows
• Initiate and lead KVP, Lean and Six Sigma projects, e.g., using DMAIC
• Identify, prioritize and evaluate improvement opportunities
• Build and further develop relevant metrics and provide regular reporting to the Production Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
• Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering or process optimization
• Solid knowledge of Lean Management, KVP and structured problem solving
• Six Sigma certification at Green Belt or Black Belt level (preferred)
• Experience leading and implementing cross-functional improvement projects
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems; BI and reporting tool knowledge is an advantage
• Very good German and good English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Analytical thinking, clear communication and ability to influence stakeholders
