Description

You will lead and develop the Microsoft Platform Services team and ensure the stable, secure, and scalable operation of central Microsoft platforms. The role includes continuous enhancement of Power Platform, Fabric, and Azure AI services, plus applying governance, security, and compliance standards. You will also support the group-wide enablement and citizen-developer strategy in close collaboration with business departments and contribute to Microsoft architecture and technology decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team both functionally and disciplinarily; coach and develop team members; foster a constructive, goal-oriented team culture

• Ensure stable, secure, scalable operations and drive continuous development of key platforms (Power Platform, Fabric, Azure-based AI services and AI applications)

• Implement company-wide governance, security, and compliance requirements; define environment strategies, manage permissions, and monitor costs

• Drive enablement and citizen-developer strategy across the group through collaboration with business stakeholders

• Efficiently coordinate external service providers and partners to keep platform operations running smoothly

• Contribute to architecture and technology decisions in the Microsoft landscape as part of the IT team

• Support IT strategy evolution and standardization across the group through domain expertise

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure (ideally with AI services)

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or comparable data platforms

• Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance requirements for enterprise IT

• First experience in functional or disciplinary leadership of teams

• Structured, independent working style

• Strong communication and coordination skills within the team and cross-functionally

• Very good German and good English skills at C1 level
