Description

Lead the Cloud Infrastructure Solutions team (technical and people leadership) responsible for operating and evolving the organization’s Microsoft Azure platform. You own secure, economical, and regulation-compliant operations including service levels and major incident management, and act as a strategic partner for management, product, and business teams. You drive platform engineering, governance, connectivity, automation, compliance, security, and risk management while coordinating with external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Cloud Infrastructure Solutions team, develop engineers, and foster an engineering culture

• Ensure safe, cost-effective, and regulation-compliant operation of the enterprise-wide Microsoft Azure platform (service levels, major incidents)

• Partner with management, product, and business teams and coordinate collaboration with external service providers

• Advance strategic development of platform engineering, governance, and connectivity; translate into tactical and strategic measures

• Continuously improve the cloud platform and capabilities in governance, automation, and platform engineering

• Manage cloud cost, compliance, security, and risk management to ensure sustainable platform value

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration with IT focus, or equivalent qualification

• Several years of leadership experience managing and developing IT teams

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS)

• Experience with Landing Zone Deployment, Management Groups, Azure Policy, Log Analytics Workspace, Service Health Alerts, or self-hosted DevOps agents

• Broad understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)

• Excellent German and English (written and spoken); Polish is a plus

• AZ-900 and AZ-204 certifications
