Description

You will be a Business Analyst / Product Owner owning end-to-end payments product delivery. Using deep payments expertise—payment rails, message types (SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX), and settlement operations—you will define technically grounded requirements, manage the backlog, collaborate with engineering, and ensure the delivered solution meets the business need.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for payment message handling, including SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 (MX) formats and mapping between them
• Collect and scope requirements for payment flows across rails, including interchange between them
• Work with operations teams to understand and improve payment processing and settlement workflows
• Translate requirements into Jira tickets, own the backlog, and ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Run acceptance testing to confirm delivered work matches requirements
• Use AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work where it makes sense

Requirements

• 5+ years as Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner in payments
• Expert knowledge of SWIFT
• Strong understanding of payment rails and interchange (e.g., SWIFT, Fedwire, PIX)
• Hands-on experience with payment processing and settlement operations
• Ability to take on problems and deliver solutions with minimal guidance
• Bias for action and strong execution mindset; drive requirements from the business
• Follow-through until issues are resolved
• Strong communication skills
• Schedule alignment for a 5–6 hour overlap with US Eastern business hours
• English proficiency
