Description

Own and lead end-to-end delivery of an in-house electronic FX platform that spans client-facing FX execution, payments, and real-world channels such as FX withdrawals from ATMs. You will draft and shape requirements with business stakeholders, collaborate with developers to implement functionality, and run end-to-end trade lifecycle testing including client reconciliation. Success depends on deep hands-on FX domain expertise across spot, forwards, swaps, window forwards, and NDF flows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for the in-house FX platform serving internal/external clients and a wholesale pricing engine for external bank clients
• Analyze and scope new client requirements from initial ask to production release
• Support client onboarding, including FX and API setup for new clients
• Manage work across multiple internal/external channels and interfaces and drive enhancements
• Write BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases; drive requirements through build, integration, and release
• Run end-to-end trade lifecycle testing and confirm reconciliation reports post-trade
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, and Compliance
• Provide occasional support outside trading hours (primarily Asia-hours production issues)
• Use AI tools to accelerate requirements, testing, and delivery where applicable

Requirements

• 10+ years of capital markets experience with a strong focus on FX
• Hands-on FX product knowledge: spots, forwards, swaps, window forwards, window forward swaps, NDFs
• Full FX trade lifecycle knowledge: pricing, hedging, settlement, and payments processing
• Experience delivering/enhancing electronic FX trading platforms (OMS, pricing/hedging engines, risk management systems, trade capture platforms)
• Hands-on FIX protocol and REST APIs; message-based integrations (middleware/message bus)
• Integration experience with multibank portals (Bloomberg FXGO, FXall, 360T, Refinitiv, FX Connect) and liquidity providers
• Business analysis skills: lead requirements gathering, process design, BRDs/user stories/acceptance criteria, and end-to-end delivery
• Product ownership mindset: roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization
• Data mapping, feed validation, trade reconciliation, and root cause analysis
• UAT planning, regression testing, and end-to-end trade lifecycle testing
• Ability to work with both agile and waterfall approaches
• Strong communication and coordination across Trading, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology
