Description

You will support the planning phase and technical execution by coordinating subcontractors with the project management, tracking ordered services, and reviewing construction documents. The role includes clarifying planning discrepancies, reporting defects early, producing site reports (stored on SharePoint), and performing cost monitoring. You will also lead and supervise specialist trades to ensure compliance with approvals/permits, building permits, regulatory requirements, execution plans, specifications, and generally accepted engineering rules.

Responsibilities

• Support planning phase

• Coordinate subcontracted companies with the project management

• Track schedules related to client-ordered services

• Review execution documents and resolve planning deviations

• Report defects in planning documents in a timely manner

• Create site reports and store them in SharePoint

• Monitor construction costs and report cost overruns

• Technically lead subcontracted companies

• Oversee the specialist trade for compliance with approvals/permits and authorities’ conditions

• Ensure alignment with execution plans, performance specifications, technical standards, and applicable regulations

Requirements

• Extensive experience in civil engineering/building construction

• Solid project management knowledge

• Reliable handling of relevant standards and regulations

• Ability to coordinate multiple specialist trades

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with statutory construction permitting

• Knowledge of construction-specific software solutions

• Experience in gas plant construction and broad knowledge of structural/civil engineering for gas compressor stations

• Very good German language skills
