Description

You will assess soil and rock conditions on site and provide geotechnical and hydro(geo)logical monitoring throughout construction. The role includes documenting subsurface and groundwater conditions, collecting soil and water samples for analysis, and supporting reporting—often with participation in meetings with authorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess soil and rock on site

• Geotechnical and hydro(geo)logical supervision of construction execution

• Document soil and groundwater conditions

• Collect soil and water samples and analyze them

• Participate in meetings with authorities

• Documentation and reporting, including an end-of-project report

Requirements

• Completed university degree as Diplomingenieur or Diplom-Geologist with a focus on hydrology and water management

• In-depth knowledge of hydrogeology, engineering geology, and contaminated site remediation

• At least 2 years of practical experience in the described tasks

• Knowledge of soil protection law and relevant regulations: WHG, LAGA, BBodSchG

• Experience in groundwater monitoring and groundwater management

• Experience in geotechnical monitoring of construction execution

• Knowledge of construction procedures

• Practical site experience
