Description

You will lead the technical department and take responsibility for day-to-day plant operations, the facilities, and the machine park. The role includes ensuring work safety, planning and delivering investment projects, driving process and efficiency improvements, and leading the maintenance organization. You will also monitor asset quality, support certification audits, and ensure fire protection requirements are met on site.

Responsibilities

• Own overall operational execution of the company and responsibility for plant and machine park
• Ensure occupational safety in the technical department, plant equipment, and infrastructure
• Contribute to the creation of annual and multi-year (1–3 year) planning
• Plan and implement investment projects
• Work toward achievement of annual targets
• Initiate and implement process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Lead the Maintenance Manager and oversee a team of 12 direct reports
• Monitor maintenance results with respect to target achievement, staffing plans, and cost efficiency
• Oversee maintenance, new acquisitions, and disposal of production equipment and infrastructure
• Monitor the quality of the plant and machine park
• Participate in certification audit activities
• Ensure compliance with fire protection requirements at the workplace

Requirements

• Completed engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in plant or machinery engineering and in people leadership
• Strong leadership skills, initiative, readiness to act, and resilience
• Ability to initiate and drive change
• Clear, binding, goal-oriented communication and willingness to take responsibility
