Description

You will administer the site’s IT systems, networks, interfaces, and hardware according to group standards, while managing local and centrally controlled IT projects through to successful implementation. You will support business applications and production systems (including interfaces), develop and program user-specific solutions such as test and simulation programs, and troubleshoot issues or initiate emergency processes when needed. You will also collaborate with internal specialized SAP teams, participate in SAP key-user rounds, and provide first-level SAP support including on-site onboarding, instruction, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain site IT systems, networks, interfaces, and hardware in line with group guidelines

• Deliver local and centrally controlled IT projects from planning through implementation

• Manage business applications and production systems plus their interfaces; develop/program user-specific solutions (e.g., test and simulation programs)

• Monitor system functionality, resolve component issues, and trigger emergency procedures as required

• Coordinate with specialized internal SAP teams; attend SAP key-user sessions

• Provide first-level support for SAP and assist users on-site with software and hardware, including procurement support, instruction, and training

Requirements

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist for application development/infrastructure or IT system electronics); ideally with a relevant technical qualification (e.g., technician)

• Strong knowledge of administering hardware/software, networks, and IT system landscapes; experience in user support including installation, configuration, and rollout

• Extensive experience leading and implementing IT projects

• Routine with Microsoft 365 cloud technologies, backup and data protection processes; ideally knowledge of IT security

• Programming skills (e.g., scripting languages) and experience with SAP applications

• Very good German and confident professional English
