Description

You will lead the Business Applications group responsible for stable operations and continuous advancement of applications such as HR systems, CRM solutions, data and reporting tools, and other core business applications. Working closely with stakeholders, you will capture and prioritize requirements, plan releases and changes, and drive standardization, integration, and modernization across the application landscape. You will also improve support and service processes, coordinate external providers, and build a structured, collaborative, solution-oriented team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Business Applications team, including development of employees, roles, and working methods
  • Ensure stable operations and continuous further development of the applications owned by the team
  • Capture requirements from business units in a structured way, prioritize them, and implement them with stakeholder alignment
  • Steer further development of the application landscape and derive measures for standardization, integration, and modernization
  • Plan and coordinate releases, changes, and projects; ensure transparent communication
  • Set up clear support and service processes and continuously improve them
  • Coordinate and manage external service providers and partners
  • Plan resources, capacities, and priorities in coordination with the Applications department management
  • Act as the central point of contact for Business Applications topics with business units and IT colleagues
  • Promote structured, collaborative, and solution-oriented working methods within the team

Requirements

  • Completed IT training or degree in (business) informatics, business administration, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in business applications or enterprise software
  • Experience managing applications such as HR systems, CRM, collaboration tools, workflow, or specialized business applications
  • First or multiple years of leadership experience is an advantage
  • Understanding of business processes and how to map them to IT systems
  • Experience managing requirements, releases, and further development
  • High communication and coordination skills
  • Structured and pragmatic working style
