Description

You will analyze and optimize IT-supported business processes with the specialist departments, with a focus on Supply Chain Management. You will design solution approaches, evaluate technical feasibility with software development, coordinate and communicate changes across stakeholders, and support implementation of new systems such as WMS. The role also includes training/testing users, user support for application questions, and improving efficiency and quality using modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize IT-enabled business processes together with business units (Supply Chain Management focus)

• Design solution approaches and evaluate technical feasibility with software development; support implementation of new systems (e.g., WMS)

• Coordinate and communicate changes in IT business applications with internal and external stakeholders; act as an internal IT consulting partner

• Contribute to IT projects for selected IT business applications

• Plan and conduct training and tests to ensure optimal use of applications

• Increase efficiency and quality by optimizing processes with the latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence

• Provide support to users for questions about IT business applications

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Engineering, or comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in IT business applications plus strong technical knowledge of IT-supported processes

• Experience in Supply Chain Management

• Ideally system knowledge in ERP, MES, PLM, or WMS

• Analytical skills and an independent, solution-oriented way of working

• High motivation and enjoyment in contributing to IT projects

• Very good German and English skills
