Description

You will act as a central interface between business management, clinical leadership, ~20 practice locations, and external IT service providers. The role emphasizes steering and further developing IT services: coordinating service operations, resolving recurring issues, and managing changes and rollouts. You will also support IT procurement decisions and collaborate on information security and data protection.

Responsibilities

  • Steer external IT partners, verify agreed services and response times, run regular service meetings, and track open measures

  • Manage tickets, priorities, and processing deadlines; coordinate escalations and ensure sustainable resolution of recurring problems

  • Collect and coordinate requests from practice teams, align them with service providers, and communicate planned measures

  • Obtain and compare offers, evaluate total costs, prepare decisions, and coordinate approved procurements; track contract terms and performance evidence

  • Support budget planning, monitor ongoing costs, and prepare replacement procurements and future investments

  • Coordinate rollouts, system changes, and standardization of IT equipment (from scheduling and approvals to acceptance)

  • Ensure evidence tracking of IT systems, devices, and licenses in GLPI and manage lifecycle activities (maintenance, license management, replacement investments)

  • Coordinate agreed measures for information security and data protection, including NIS-2 and KBV IT security guidelines

  • Support documentation and preparation for security incidents and emergency situations

Requirements

  • Completed IT training, an IT-related degree, or equivalent knowledge from professional experience

  • Several years of experience in IT service management, IT operations, or IT project management

  • Experience working with and managing external IT service providers

  • Good understanding of incidents, recurring problems, system changes, and structured IT procedures

  • Practical experience with ticketing and asset management systems

  • Technical understanding of client, server, network, and cloud environments; ability to assess solution proposals professionally

  • Familiarity with offer comparisons, IT procurement, and cost/budget topics

  • Organized, reliable, and independent working style with consistent follow-up

  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly and communicate confidently with different stakeholders

  • Driver’s license class B

  • Willingness to support additional practice sites on-site when needed

  • Welcome: ITIL 4 and GLPI, plus knowledge of information security and data protection

  • Welcome but not required: Experience in healthcare and medical IT / practice management systems / telematics infrastructure
