Description

Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end features for Amazon Quick—from customer-facing experiences to backend services and cloud infrastructure. You’ll build highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems on AWS, collaborating with product managers, designers, and applied scientists. You will also own testing, monitoring, and operational health, and use generative AI tools to improve quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features across the full stack (UI/experiences, backend services, infrastructure)

• Build and operate AWS-based distributed systems with strong availability, performance, and security

• Partner with cross-functional teams to turn customer needs into working software

• Ensure quality and operational health (testing, monitoring, on-call)

• Use generative AI tools in daily work and improve AI feature reliability

• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor other engineers

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years designing/architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
