Description

Design, develop, deliver, and operate secure, reliable, and scalable services for SaaS application streaming and virtual desktop delivery at massive scale. You will build on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, and API Gateway to enable low-latency, high-fidelity, cost-efficient, and secure streaming. The role includes hands-on development, system deep-dives, customer/stakeholder engagement, and participation in oncall.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and operate secure, reliable, scalable customer features and internal operational improvements

• Maintain high quality standards through code, design, and document reviews

• Collaborate across team boundaries with strong ownership and delivery

• Build deep understanding of the system and customer workflows; participate in oncall and drive ticket/issue resolution

• Apply customer obsession across design, implementation, testing, deployments, and operations

• Communicate effectively to earn trust and drive consensus

• Contribute to continuous improvement of team efficiency and effectiveness

• Mentor and role-model best practices for junior engineers

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling)

• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience

• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications/tools/systems/services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl

• 1+ years of Object-Oriented Design experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
