Description

Design and build high-scale, highly available distributed services that extend AWS Config. Develop AI agent orchestration systems to automate end-to-end resource type onboarding—reasoning over AWS service APIs, authoring configuration schemas, and validating correctness with minimal human intervention. Own the full solution lifecycle including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate distributed services that extend AWS Config

  • Design and build AI agent orchestration systems for resource type onboarding at scale

  • Own solutions across the full lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and support

  • Ensure operational excellence for agentic workflows (monitoring, alerting, self-healing)

  • Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and rigorous code reviews

  • Bring structure to ambiguous problems, manage competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional non-internship software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, scaling) for new and existing systems

  • 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience

  • 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications/tools/systems/services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl

  • 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
