Description

Lead a team designing and building AI primitives and user-facing services for agentic AI. You will ship features end-to-end—from concept and design to implementation, rollout, and support—at AWS/Amazon scale. Work with product and customer stakeholders to turn IP and code into customer solutions while maintaining a high operational bar.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering teams delivering reliable, high-performance software

• Define and develop multi-tier web services and distributed systems

• Lead software development through the full lifecycle: coding, reviews, builds, testing, and live operations

• Partner with product/program management to translate customer needs into technical designs and features

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience

• 7+ years of engineering experience

• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services

• 1+ years providing technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle

• 1+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed systems using Java, C#, or C++

• 1+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed systems using service-oriented architecture

• 1+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed systems using distributed programming

• Bachelor’s degree (CS/Engineering/Math or related) or equivalent

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns across the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, live site operations)

• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
