Description

Lead and develop the company’s IT function—setting priorities, processes, and the direction of further IT development. Ensure reliable and secure operation of IT infrastructure, information systems, and IT services while driving digitalization through automation and new technology solutions, including practical evaluation of AI. Manage IT budgets and projects, lead and grow the IT team, and coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop IT overall; define priorities, processes, and the IT roadmap

  • Lead and develop the IT team (organize work, set measurable goals, evaluate results)

  • Drive digitalization with management and departments; identify automation and efficiency opportunities

  • Introduce new technology solutions; monitor technology trends including AI and assess meaningful use cases

  • Plan and manage IT budget and projects; prepare investment proposals and evaluate benefits

  • Ensure reliable and secure IT operations: infrastructure, information systems, IT services, cyber security, data protection, backups, and IT risk management

  • Manage collaboration with external suppliers; supervise service quality and propose effective solutions

Requirements

  • Several years of IT experience with proven people-management experience

  • Ability to set measurable goals and priorities, organize work, evaluate results, and take responsibility for outcomes

  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, information systems, hardware, and software

  • Orientation in cyber security, data protection, backups, and IT risk management

  • Experience managing IT projects, budgeting/investment planning, and evaluating solution benefits

  • Strong communication and cross-company collaboration; ability to partner with leadership on new solutions

  • Active driver with a valid Class B license
