• Role: SAP ABAP Team Lead

Description

You will lead SAP ABAP development and support for applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform. The role includes technical leadership, code reviews, feature development, application monitoring/troubleshooting, and maintaining technical and user documentation.

You’ll also collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics, contribute to design/architectural decisions, and help improve development processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience in SAP ABAP

• Team leader experience with mentoring and responsibility for 10+ people

• Agile (Scrum) development experience and strong application/software architecture knowledge

• Strong ABAP skills including ABAP OO and design patterns

• ABAP for SAP S/4HANA experience (CDS, Fiori elements/SmartTemplates, etc.)

• SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services experience

• Experience with BOPF, BOL, and other ABAP frameworks

• Knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit, ABAP performance tuning, runtime analysis tools and techniques

• Basic understanding of SAP system functionality with good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functional areas

• English proficiency B2+
