Description

Lead SAP ABAP engineering by analyzing business requirements and designing, implementing, and testing SAP solutions. Collaborate with development teams and product management specialists while ensuring delivery quality through test execution, design reviews, and code reviews. Drive continuous improvement of the delivery process and manage engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and define business requirements

• Design, implement, and test solutions using the SAP programming model and processes

• Collaborate with development teams and product management specialists

• Participate in the Agile Scrum development process

• Ensure high-quality delivery through test case execution, design reviews, and code reviews

• Maintain and improve the delivery process

Requirements

• Expertise in Agile Scrum development with strong grasp of application and software architecture

• Proficiency in ABAP, including ABAP Object-Oriented and design patterns

• Hands-on ABAP for SAP S/4HANA development: Core Data Services, Fiori elements, SmartTemplates

• Familiarity with Business Object Processing Framework, Business Object Layer, and related ABAP frameworks

• Solid knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit, ABAP Performance Tuning, and runtime analysis tools

• Solid understanding of SAP system functionality, particularly in SAP S/4HANA functional areas

• Intermediate to upper-intermediate English proficiency

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international project team

• Leadership experience managing teams of 10+ members
