Description

You will plan, build, and administer Microsoft Azure infrastructure services. The role includes expanding the international cloud strategy, ensuring high performance and secure infrastructure, and partnering with stakeholders and IT teams. You will also automate routine tasks and support migrations from on-premises systems to Azure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provision Azure infrastructure services

• Expand the international cloud strategy and design the rollout of cloud services

• Ensure a high-performance and secure infrastructure

• Advise business departments and collaborate with IT teams

• Plan and implement cloud infrastructure

• Administer and maintain the Azure landscape

• Automate processes and routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Runbooks

• Plan and implement migrations from on-premises systems to Azure

• Implement security measures, backup, and recovery solutions

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Monitor and analyze system performance and resource utilization

• Troubleshoot incidents during day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker), or comparable qualification

• Several years of independent administration of Microsoft Azure environments

• Strong knowledge of integrating third-party cloud solutions

• Confident use of Azure services in Compute, Storage, Network, and Security

• Proficient scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell or Azure Runbooks)

• Very good German and good English skills

• Analytical and structured working style

• Solution-oriented, cross-team collaboration and willingness to co-design

• Ideally: experience with network administration, basic ITIL knowledge, and strong architectural understanding
