Description

You will advise international business teams and work closely with IT teams to develop tailored Azure solutions. You will plan and implement secure cloud infrastructure, administer and maintain Azure resources (network components, storage solutions, and virtual machines), and automate routine processes.

Responsibilities

• Consult stakeholders and collaborate with IT teams to build customized Azure solutions

• Plan and implement cloud infrastructure for a high-performance, secure environment

• Administer and maintain the Microsoft Azure landscape (network, storage, virtual machines)

• Automate processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Runbooks

• Independently plan and execute migrations from on-premises to Azure

• Implement security measures, backup and recovery solutions, and ensure compliance requirements are met

• Monitor and analyze system performance and resource utilization and resolve operational incidents

Requirements

• Completed IT-related degree or training as an IT specialist or equivalent qualification

• Multiple years of experience in independent administration of Microsoft Azure environments

• Strong knowledge of connecting third-party cloud solutions

• Confident handling of Azure services in Compute, Storage, Network, and Security

• Routine with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell or Azure Runbooks)

• Very good German and good English

• Analytical thinking and structured working style

• Solution-oriented, cross-team collaboration and willingness to help shape solutions

• Ideally: experience with network administration, basic ITIL knowledge, and strong architectural understanding
