Description

You will plan, deploy, and administer MS Azure cloud services, maintaining a secure and high-performance infrastructure. You will automate processes, collaborate with IT and business teams on tailored Azure solutions, and lead on-prem-to-Azure migrations with security, backup/recovery, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Azure cloud infrastructure and services
• Expand the international cloud strategy and the Azure service portfolio
• Consult with national and international business teams
• Work closely with IT teams to develop custom Azure solutions
• Administer and maintain Azure resources (network components, storage solutions, and virtual machines)
• Automate operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Azure Runbooks
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises to Azure
• Implement security measures, backup and recovery solutions, and ensure compliance
• Monitor and analyze system performance and resource utilization; troubleshoot incidents in production

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, training as a specialist IT technician (Fachinformatiker), or comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience administering Microsoft Azure environments independently
• Knowledge integrating third-party cloud solutions
• Proficiency with Azure services for Compute, Storage, Network, and Security
• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Azure Runbooks)
• German proficiency and good English skills
• Analytical thinking and structured working style
• Solution-oriented, cross-team collaboration
• Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in shaping the solution
• Ideally: network administration experience, basic ITIL knowledge, strong architectural understanding
