Description

Own the Market Data & Feeds side of an integrations ecosystem (connectors, data feeds, and shared integration capabilities) end-to-end—from discovery and prioritization to delivery and production health. Lead product discovery by identifying where integrations and internal tooling limit trading value or burn engineering time, then turn business problems into an executable backlog with clear tradeoffs. As team lead, manage day-to-day engineering execution, hiring/onboarding, 1:1s, feedback, performance, and blameless learning from incidents while partnering with the Tech Lead on technical quality.

Responsibilities

• Product discovery & prioritization: run continuous discovery with Trading/ops/users; originate and pitch initiatives; maintain a prioritized queue with explicit tradeoffs; shape the sprint plan balancing new work, reliability, and tech debt.
• Delivery leadership: unblock the team; chase dependencies; ensure predictable, well-communicated production delivery; treat recurring production pain as backlog input; improve lead time and ticket quality; reduce mid-sprint thrash.
• Team leadership: act as Hiring Manager; run 1:1s and set development goals; provide timely feedback; build psychological safety with blameless learning from incidents.

Requirements

• Experience as Engineering Manager, Team Lead, Technical PM, or Product Manager of an engineering team
• Proven ability to lead developers while owning product outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management with business users (ideally trading/ops/marketplace/fintech or similar)
• Ability to discover problems, prioritize ruthlessly, and explain tradeoffs clearly
• Enough technical depth to discuss APIs, distributed services, reliability, and delivery constraints
• Excellent communication, ownership, and follow-through
• Comfort in a fast environment with production pressure and incomplete information
• Ability to use AI tools day-to-day for discovery, drafting specs, analysis, and prioritization support
• Proficiency in Czech/Slovak and fluency in English
