Description

You will design and iterate user experiences across iOS, Android, and responsive web, from early research through launch. The goal is to create modern, intuitive, and visually polished experiences—including micro-interactions and motion—that improve activation, retention, and overall user outcomes.

You will also build and maintain the product’s Design System and use research and product analytics to drive design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop UX for iOS, Android, and responsive web

• Create consistent experiences for: home equipment/information management, services/servicing, and renovations/home projects

• Define user flows, information architecture, interaction models, and UI

• Design onboarding, key user journeys, and activation/retention elements

• Deliver high visual quality across screens and micro-interactions (animations, motion, interface details)

• Develop and maintain Design System assets: component libraries, design tokens, and motion guidelines

• Run user research (interviews), usability testing, and prototype testing

• Analyze user behavior and product metrics and translate insights into design decisions

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Founder stakeholders

• Present and defend design decisions and constructively challenge assumptions

• Ensure accessibility on mobile (WCAG, dynamic type, color contrast, screen reader compatibility)

• Track metrics such as activation, retention, CSAT, task completion, and drop-off

• Iterate on the product based on data, research, and user feedback
