Description

You will develop and evaluate technical solution concepts for mobile data center components used to run an automated platform in complex environments. The role includes designing backend architectures across multiple information domains for virtualized platforms on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), defining data exchange mechanisms between mobile and stationary components, and aligning with the overall system architecture. You will also lead and coordinate internal teams and communicate with management and relevant stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and assess technical solution concepts for providing mobile data center components in complex deployment environments
  • Concept and plan backend architectures across multiple information domains to realize virtualized platforms on IaaS
  • Define and implement data exchange mechanisms between mobile and stationary system components in distributed scenarios
  • Create technical concepts for modular data center infrastructure up to the virtualization layer
  • Coordinate with the overarching system architecture and ensure technical consistency across the overall project
  • Provide functional leadership for project teams and manage communication with management and stakeholders

Requirements

  • IT training or university degree in business informatics, information technology, or a comparable IT background
  • Several years of experience in developing technical solutions (e.g., Enterprise/Solution/IT Architect, technical IT Consultant, or technical IT Project Manager)
  • Extensive knowledge of traditional infrastructure and cloud platforms
  • In-depth expertise in networking technologies (RAS, LAN, WAN) and modern cloud platforms, plus deep expertise in at least one additional domain (IT security, IAM, datacenter architecture, application development/management, virtualization platforms, or classic client/server)
  • Knowledge of standardized IT security methods to secure IT systems and processes
  • Experience in solution management for applications or infrastructure
  • Experience applying project management methods such as ITIL, ISAQB, TOGAF, or TÜV
  • Experience with requirements engineering/management aligned with industry standards such as IREB
  • Ability to work in virtual teams with agile methods
  • Strong communication skills with business/customer orientation; leadership drive and diplomacy
  • German and English proficiency (written and spoken)
