Description

You will continuously develop the IT architecture for process and operations management software, shaping the strategic direction of central software solutions—from operational data acquisition to CAD/CAE and EAM/AVA applications. You monitor technological developments, assess new tools and trends, and decide on potential integration into the existing system landscape. You advise projects on architecture-relevant questions and work with IT architects and technical experts to implement end-to-end, cross-functional solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve IT architecture for process and operations management software

• Evaluate new tools and trends and assess possible integration into the current system landscape

• Advise projects on architecture-critical topics and ensure strategic, system-wide thinking

• Collaborate with IT architects, business areas, and IT experts to implement holistic, cross-functional solutions

• Contribute your expertise to the target vision and strategic direction of the department

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or an IT-related field; or completed training as an IT specialist with several years of relevant application-support experience

• Experience in application support, ideally for process and/or operations management software

• Desirable: Basic knowledge of metrology data processing

• Ability to think across technologies and organizations

• Experience collaborating successfully with diverse stakeholders in interdisciplinary projects

• German proficiency at least C1

• Strong communication skills, perseverance, and self-initiative
